BEFORE YOU BOOK
A few practical details about staying at Agua Salada, booking your accommodation and preparing for your arrival.
YOUR STAY
The Gîte welcomes up to 4 guests, with a minimum stay of 3 nights.
The Pool House Studio welcomes up to 2 guests, with a minimum stay of 2 nights.
The two accommodations are booked separately. Rates are per accommodation, per night. Your preferred dates are subject to availability.
WHAT´S INCLUDED
Final cleaning, bed linen, bath towels, Wi-Fi, air aconditioning, heating and local taxes are included in the nightly rate. Pool foutas are provided during the swimming pool season.
Handmade soap from Agua Salada and a welcome starter supply of coffee capsules, tea and everyday essentials are provided to help you settle in.
Kitchen basics and cleaning supplies are also available. For anything else you may need during your stay, you´ll find local shops and supermarkets in Malaucène and Vaison-la-Romaine.
LIFE AT AGUA SALADA
We live on the property year-round. Each accommodation has its own space, while the pool and surrounding grounds are shared with us and other guests. Set in the countryside, Agua Salada is also part of everyday rural life, with sounds and smells that vary with the seasons.
Agua Salada is a place to unwind. Parties and events are not permitted. Please be mindful of others, especially between 22:00 and 08:00, keeping music and outdoor conversations at a low volume.
To protect everyone´s privacy and comfort, the accommodation, pool and grounds are reserved for guests staying at Agua Salada. Outside visitors are not permitted.
THE SWIMMING POOL
The 15 x 6 m salted swimming pool is shared by guests staying in both accommodations and by the hosts.
The pool is not heated and is open seasonally, from May to 15 September, weather permitting. Water temperature varies with the weather.
Children must be supervised by an adult at all times around the pool.
TRAVELLING WITH DOGS
Well-behaved dogs are welcome at
Agua Salada.
Please let us know when enquiring and tell us about your dog´s breed, size and age. Our own friendly dog lives on the property.
We kindly ask that dogs are not left alone in the accomodation for long periods and are kept off sofas and beds.
We can reccommend a local dog walker or pet sitter, making it easier to enjoy local markets and restaurants.
A 30€ supplement per stay applies for guests travelling with dogs.
RESERVATIONS & PAYMENTS
Send us your preferred accommodation and dates through the booking form. We´ll reply by email with availability, the total price and payment instructions.
Full payment by bank transfer is required to confirm your booking. Once payment has been recieved, we´ll send you a booking confirmation.
Sending an enquiry does not confirm or hold a booking.
CANCELLATION
Plans can change, and we understand that. The following refunds apply to the accommodation payment:

More than 8 weeks before arrival → 80% refund

Between 4 and 8 weeks before arrival inclusive → 50% refund
-
Less than 4 weeks before arrival → no refund
If we are able to rebook the cancelled nights, we may be able to offer an additional partial refund. This is assessed individually and is not guaranteed.
Please send cancellation requests by email.
REFUNDABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT
On arrival, we ask for a refundable security deposit in cash: 400€ for The Gîte and 300€ for The Pool House Studio.
This is returned to you on departure, provided everything is in good order.
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE

Check-in is between 16:00 and 21:00, and check-out is by 11:00.
Once your booking is confirmed, we´ll send you the exact address, directions and practical details to help you plan your arrival.
If you expect to arrive after 21:00, please get in touch beforehand so we can arrange your welcome.
