Malaucène · Mont Ventoux · Provence
A place shaped by time, nature and a slower rhythm of life
Agua Salada is a restored Provençal farmhouse and family home set in Malaucène, at the foot of Mont Ventoux, surrounded by vineyards, trees and quiet landscapes.
A place to slow down and connect with Provence.

A 250-year-old Provençal farmhouse gently restored and brought back to life
Today, it is a lived-in family home, and next to it, the Gîte, that offers an independent space for guests
THE STORY OF AGUA SALADA
The name Agua Salada comes from the Provençal Aigua Salada.
The place where the property is located has been known for centuries as L’Eau Salée —meaning “salted water” in French—, a name tied to water and to the history of the land.
We chose to preserve that sound, while giving it a Spanish form, easier to pronounce across different languages without losing its identity.
History
For years, it was a place full of life. At one point, it even became a small local restaurant, welcoming neighbors and travelers who came for lunch and later enjoyed the pool.
Rebirth
Today, Agua Salada is a family home where guests can experience Provence at a slower rhythm.
The Gîte
In the heart of the property, the Gîte offers an independent place to stay.
It is a fully independent house, ideal for up to 4 guests.
THE RESTORATION
A house brought back to life
During the restoration, key elements such as the roofs and floors were carefully redone, while preserving the character of the original Provençal farmhouse.
Materials & spirit
Within the property, the Gîte was also completely renovated, creating a welcoming place to stay while respecting its original spirit.
The intention was not to transform the house, but to restore it with care and let it to live again.
